Happy Birthday To Me (late)
FINALLY, I got caught up with all the posts that have been posted while I wasn't reading posts.
Oh, and happy birthday to me. I'm 29 and 1095/365ths. Give or take a leap year. I got awesome birthday presents, including a chair massager from my husband, a generous gift card from my parents for WalMart which will be used to pick out some kind of storage system for the junk in our kitchen, hair stuff and a gift card for gasoline from my sister, and a gift card for dinner from my mom.
I've managed to get (I think) all my Christmas shopping done. I'm not 100% sure because I kept the list of things to get in my head this year, and my mental Rolodex is overstuffed with crap from 25 years ago.
Seriously, why am I ever going to need my Grandma's Fields-Ertel phone number? She moved away from that house oh-so-many years ago, then passed away in 1992. But I still know her phone number.
I also remember the license plate number for my other Grandma's old car. Not the one she had for the last 10 years, but the one from the 80s. And the plate number of the '78 VW Rabbit we had in the 80s.
But I got all the major people covered, and that's what counts. Yay.
Oh, man, do I have writer's block. I'm sitting here staring alternately at an open email (aka "work") and this screen, and neither one is getting itself did. Dang. I need a freakin nap.
